I start my auction low at a dollar as eBay suggests to create a bidding frenzy. One week later no bids, yet twenty watchers. This auction is unlike a real auction where decisions need made now, buyers have an entire week to watch and decide.

At the last minute a bid sniper bids one dollar.

Yee-haa I just got 15% off because I offered Free Shipping.

Well the item was a $300 dollar game console that will cost $25 dollars to ship from California to Maine.

This costs me not only the $26 to list and ship, but the $100 item cost, my time to list, advertise, package, package supplies, and other overhead. So this 15% off cost me at least $126 dollars to sell and send free to one lucky customer. Hope they are happpy too, because if not I'll get a low DSR score and feedback ding.

This is not the way to run a business. Well, in eBay's eyes your not a business - how ever much you may act like one - your only an individual. That's why you are barraged with restrictive rules and policies. No actual real business could survive and thrive under these conditions.
