Capitol One phishing scam

Below you will find the text - Capitol One phishing scam. This message appears to be sent from - Capital One [acct@capital.com]. Return or Reply email as - do-not-reply@capital.com.

Recieved from address comes from tristarfulfillment.com. The following is a Phishing Scam pretending to be Capitol One in an attempt to lure you to login and expose your user name and password. You will see in message where we have Link Removed, it was removed because the link DID NOT go to a secure Capitol One page, it went to a Fake login page.

If you receive message like this one, add the sent from address to your denied senders list, report the message to SPAM@UCE.GOV and report to the spam & abuse department of the sent from domain. Also report this Capitol One.

Don't ever follow any spammers links, open any attachments, or reply to their messages. ALL Links and images were removed or disabled from Spammers message.

Don't just delete these scammers and fraudsters - REPORT them.

Dear Customer,

To protect your Capital One account from unauthorized access, we have set limits on failed login attempts. Unfortunately, you have reached the critical number of attempts, so your access to your account has been limited for security purposes. To restore access to your account please login your account **LINK REMOVED** and update your information immediately.
